AH-64D Cyclic, Collective, Target Acquisition Grips

The AH-64D Longbow was developed as one of the most advanced attack helicopters ever created. This is why Boeing entrusted their control systems to Mason Electric. Aside from Mason’s reputation for reliability and quality, our commitment to innovation is demonstrated in our willingness to apply highly advanced problem-solving skills to every job. Wherever difficult electrical and mechanical control problems exist, Mason is ready to apply its skills, ingenuity, and experience.

The AH-64D uses Mason cyclic, collective and target acquisition grips. They were all custom designed for Boeing with a variety of switches and transducers to control onboard systems. The 724 style collective alone contains 19 switches and the 722 style target acquisition grips have a total of 28 switches! These complex grips are a proud example of Mason Electric’s design and manufacturing capabilities.
